AppLovin revenue jumps 55% as its forecast points higher
The advertising platform reports stronger profit and raises its share-buyback capacity.
AppLovin reported third-quarter revenue of $2.185 billion, up 55% from a year earlier, and projected a further increase in sales for the final quarter of 2026.
Net income rose 72% to $1.439 billion. Diluted earnings were $4.30 per share, compared with the $4.04 analyst estimate cited by Yahoo Finance.
The advertising platform expects fourth-quarter revenue of $2.365 billion to $2.395 billion. That is the company's forecast, not a completed result, and sits above the $2.25 billion consensus estimate in the same report.
AppLovin also reported third-quarter adjusted EBITDA of $1.842 billion. That non-GAAP measure is different from net income and excludes costs that remain relevant to shareholders.
The board added $3.2 billion to its share-repurchase authorization, bringing the remaining authorization to $3.6 billion at the end of October. An authorization permits future purchases; it does not mean that amount has already been spent.
The results offer a company-specific contrast to the wider technology-stock selloff. Strong sales and profit at one advertising platform do not establish that demand is equally strong across the chip and data-center industries.
