GM reports before the open, Netflix and United Airlines after the close
A busy Tuesday for earnings: an automaker first, then streaming and airlines after the bell.
General Motors reports third-quarter results before the open Tuesday, with a call at 8:30 AM ET. Wall Street expects adjusted earnings of $3.63 a share on $48.70 billion in revenue, per CNBC, citing LSEG estimates. CNBC said investors will watch whether GM raises its 2026 guidance.
Netflix reports after the market closes, according to MarketWatch and Barron's. Analysts expect revenue of about $12.87 billion, up from $11.51 billion a year earlier (MarketWatch, citing FactSet); Reuters, citing LSEG, put the growth at 11.8%, which would be the slowest third-quarter growth in three years. Reuters said investors want to know how Netflix plans to sustain growth as competition intensifies and engagement shows signs of fatigue. United Airlines also reports after the close, per CNBC.
Gotrade, citing the Nasdaq earnings calendar, listed GE Aerospace, 3M, RTX and Northrop Grumman among the companies reporting before the open. About 70 S&P 500 companies report this week, per CNBC. More in our week-ahead calendar.
